Brad Fortier, CFP®, CEP®, president of Fortier Financial, has earned the highly respected Certified Estate Planner™ credential.
A CEP®, or Certified Estate Planner™, is a financial, legal, or tax professional who has earned a distinctive educational certification through the National Institute of Certified Estate Planners (NICEP).
As a Certified Estate Planner™, Fortier will help individuals with strategies to ensure that their final property and health care wishes are honored and that their loved ones are provided for in their absence.
“Estate planning is often overlooked or put off in favor of more immediate concerns, and I’ve seen all too many tragedies that could have been prevented with proper planning,” said Fortier. “I worked to receive the CEP® certification so that I provide my clients with strategies to help protect their loved ones from financial hardship.”
Fortier completed a rigorous course of instruction in the field of estate planning and successfully passed a comprehensive examination process. As a CEP®, Fortier will meet annual estate planning continuing education requirements and must adhere to the practical guidelines and code of ethics of the NICEP.
Prior to receiving the CEP® credential, Fortier earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. The nationally recognized standard of excellence ensures adherence to stringent ethical standards, not just applicable laws and regulations.
